Jonathan Webb
I am a zoologist and published nature photographer from the UK, currently based in Europe.
Photography: I am self-taught with over 9 years of experience, and specialise in taking a photojournalistic approach to documenting the complexity of human-animal relationships in the 21st century. My mission is to use thought-provoking imagery to bring untold stories to the attention of both policy makers and the public, in a bid to spread awareness of the innate value of animal lives and support the work of independent animal welfare organisations.
If you like my work and would like to support me, you can buy prints/stickers/postcards or Buy Me a Coffee.

Science: I graduated with a Master’s degree in Zoology from the University of Sheffield in 2019 and have worked as a research assistant and researcher since. I am most interested in projects carried out on the interaction between animal behaviour, ecology, and cognition, and have studied a range of species including elephants, birds of prey, kea, corvids, jumping spiders, hermit crabs.
