A collection of 30 postcards bound in a small book. Themed around the Vrachanski Balkan, a nature park and mountain range in northwest Bulgaria.

"As the Iskar river winds its way north through the Balkan Mountains, it is forced eastward at Lakatnik. Before reaching the flatlands, it yields to the sheer lime- stone cliffs of the Vrachanski Balkan. Nearby, the Leva river spills northward, carving a path between two stone cliffs and forming the legendary limestone gate known as Vrattsata, which gives its name to this entire area.

Shaped by these rivers, the landscapes of the Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park capture the wild spirit of the northwest, the least populated region in Bulgaria. The photographs in this collection follow the stories left by these sister rivers and the beauty hidden within the rolling Vrachanski hills."
