The fourth highest mountain in wider Europe, Mt Kazbek at 5047m (Mont Blanc is fifth, if you were wondering).

View from the cheapest room in town, the road had been blocked for a few days by snow but had just been cleared, so there were no tourists to compete with.

In a place where having to put up with being attacked by dog is pretty fairly frequent (happened 4 times to me, and no one around helped, yay), the best defense is to befriend as many bigger dogs as possible and take them with you on your hikes.

My security detail, big Mr White, put any aggressive dog that ran up to me in its place.
